Flint Group Narrow Web has announced it will host a Grand Opening Event for its Center For Technical Excellence located in Rogers, MN, USA. The event will take place June 14-16, 2017. Rogers is just outside of Minneapolis and a short drive from the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). The Grand Opening Event will feature guest speakers from throughout the label industry, press and plate equipment demonstrations, and networking opportunities. Earlier this year, Flint Group Narrow Web announced the installation of a Mark Andy Performance Series P5 – an 8-color, 10″ flexographic combination press, equipped with the latest web handling and print technologies – including state-of-the-art ProLED curing. The press enables Flint Group Narrow Web to accelerate the speed of product development and increase product launches because inks developed in the lab can be quickly evaluated on press.
